DAY 2. sant elm to la trapa monastery CIRCULAR WALK
Your active week starts with a circular coastal walk in the idyllic old fishing village of Sant Elm. A beautiful hike that takes you along the coast towards the 400-year-old “Torre de Cala ses Bassets” watchtower offers permanent spectacular views of The Dragon Island – just offshore on the southwest part of Mallorca. It continues through a well-trodden path up a forested slope, which later becomes steep and rocky on the upper part until you reach the old Trappist Monastery, “La Trapa“. The route finishes in the same Sant Elm. Enjoy a refreshment on one of the beautiful sunny terraces, and after, you’ll be transferred to the pretty valley town of Esporles in the western Tramuntana mountains. In Esporles, one of our recommendations is to visit La Granja, the perfect example of a farmhouse converted into a museum.

DAY 3. cAMÍ DES CORREU - BANYALBUFAR - PORT DES CANONGE
After a delightful breakfast, today’s walk starts at La Granja, which you might have visited the day before. The first part of the walk goes along an old postal path, “Camí des Correu,” the old royal road with medieval roots dating back to 1401 that connects Esporles with Banyalbufar, which today is part of the Dry Stone Route road network.
Arriving at Banyalbufar, you’ll be amazed by the terraced landscape that dates back 1,000 years when the Arabs ruled this region. The charming village is a perfect place for a lunch break. Afterward, you’ll continue your journey, exploring the coastline to Port des Canonge, where a fantastic pebbled beach with clear water is your reward. For the next two nights, you’ll be transferred to the idyllic town of Valldemossa, one of the most visited places in Mallorca.

DAY 4. ALONG THE ARCHDUKE'S TRAIL FROM VALLDEMOSSA TO DEIÀ
After exploring the charming town of Valldemossa, it goes better. Thanks to the path network created in the 19th century by the Austrian Archduke Ludwig Salvator, you can explore the trails and stunning coastal and mountain panoramas leading to the beautiful village of Deià. More than a walking route, it could be described as a cultural route, learning about Son Marroig, Miramar, s’Estaca, Sa Foradada, etc.
Deià is a place with a fantastic story. Artists have been flocking to Deia since the 1960s and 1970s, and since then, incredible artwork and legends have been created.
